Most of the current Scholarship students attend boarding school.
A Mukusu scholarship covers fees for transportation, a mattress, meals, and personal items. The food provided in the schools is very basic and children are suggested to carry some pocket money to add to their meals.

Our Scholarship Program also covers the cost of academic field trips.
Because of some of the challenges they may face at home…some of the scholarship students stay with the Kenyan Scholarship Team (Paul, boys - Mercy, girls) during school breaks.
If a student requires medical attention, the Mukusu Scholarship Program will help with the health care costs.
To help prevent Malaria, the scholarship students and their families received bed nets.
